So, I installed Vista on my Boot Camp partition the other day, and everything seemed great. Except one little thing. I couldn’t access my Mac OS X partition from the Windows side.

Well, luckily, there’s a free program that I came across known as HFSExplorer. It is really neat, and luckily, it’s free (and open source I believe). If you have faced the problem of not being able to access your Mac OS X files from the Windows side, this is the solution. Here what it can’t do though : It won’t WRITE to the Mac partition, but that’s a good thing so if some nasty virus comes along your way, it won’t affect your Mac side. Go ahead and install, but you might need to install JavaRuntime if it’s not on your computer already.
